How do I submit my photos to #macyslove gallery?
Sharing the love is easy! Just take a photo of your fave Macy's finds, tag it #macyslove and share it on Twitter™ or Instagram™ or upload your photo directly onto the #macyslove gallery. By using the #macyslove hashtag or uploading your photo directly to the #macyslove gallery, you acknowledge and give your consent to Macy's that your photos(s) and your name and likeness may be used by Macy's, Inc. or on macys.com, linking through to the products you're wearing. You further represent that you are at least eighteen (18) years old, and that you agree that your photo, name, social media handle, and any associated caption will be considered a "Submission" and that you agree to all of the terms in our User Generated Content Policy , including the grant of rights in a submission as described in that policy, and our Legal Notice .

So, what should I take a picture of?
We want to see how much you love your Macy's purchases and how you make it your own!
Keep in mind: You must be the only person in the high-quality, in-focus image; and show only product(s) sold at Macy's.
We only want to see #macyslove - so please don't share anything vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, profane, indecent, racially or ethnically derogatory. Same goes for content that would constitute a criminal offense or promotes alcohol, drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons. I've shared my photo, but I don't see it on macys.com. What's the deal?
First, you should check to see if your Instagram™ or Twitter™ account is public. If it's private, we can't see you or your pics! Make sure you've used the hashtag #macyslove. All photos are subject to an approval process and won't be posted until they have been approved. If we can't identify the product, no longer carry the product, if you are under 18, or we feel like your photo doesn't comply with our requirements , we won't be able to post it. In the end, Macy's has the final say on whether your photo will go up or not.
What if I want to take my photo off macys.com?
To remove your photo, just click the report icon (the gray triangle with an exclamation mark in it) to the far right of the expanded photo. A dialogue box will pop up asking for the reason you're reporting it and your email address. This email address will only be used to communicate with you about the picture. Once we receive your request, and confirm it, we'll remove the photo from the gallery. After that, one of our moderators will review the report and determine if the photo should be deleted permanently.
Who owns the photo once it's submitted?
If you shared the photo, you own it. However, once you tag your photo #macyslove and share it, you are agreeing to our Legal Notice and our User Generated Content policy and granting Macy's permission, among other things, to use the photo and your name, social media handle and any accompanying caption on our website, emails, in advertising or in any other marketing material.
